Super light pink to gold ombre effect
Finally trimmed my nails, they were getting really gnarly (hm, I'm starting to use that word more often). I was getting talons, people! But sometimes, it's hard to realize when things go too far here because some fashion is pretty nuts, making a coke nail or two not seem so bad...

Holy Balls, fingernails! As you can see, Japanese magazines tend to incorporate an element of the fantastic and impossible...because there's just no way that girl can really use a phone.
Of course, crazy Japanese fashion is not as common as many people may think. Outside of Harajuku, Shinjuku, and Shibuya, style is actually quite conservative so I've only seen nails this long twice...and it was just bad...do you know what it's like dodging an eye poke from across a train car? Hopefully you never will...
I'm not saying I don't like long nails or Japanese manicures. I love them, but I think we can all agree...there's a limit.

Yeah...so unless your life's ambition is to wear the portraits of your favorite NBA stars on your fingers (hey, totally legit dream!), skip the super long acrylics and don't skip the clippers.
